Step:

  1. Slice meat, peppers, & onions into thin, bite size pieces (be sure to cut meat against the grain for tenderness)

  2. Clean & pierce potatoes and cook in microwave according to your appliance. Should be about 4 minutes or so. Set aside to cool slightly, then cut into bite size pieces.

  3. Heat a large skillet over medium high heat with the oil. Once hot, add butter, meat, peppers & onions.

  4. Let cook a few minutes, while stirring occasionally.

  5. Once the meat is half done, add the spices and potatoes. Stir and cook to desired doneness. Because I used steak, I cooked to medium. If you use chicken or pork you will want to follow proper cooking times for those proteins.

Ingredients

  1. 1 lb Meat, I used beef sirloin
  2. 1/2 Green pepper
  3. 1/2 small onion (about 1/2 cup)
  4. 2 medium red potatoes
  5. 2 tbsp Oil
  6. 1 tbsp Butter
  7. 1/2 tsp Salt & fresh ground black pepper
  8. 1/2 tsp Granulated garlic
  9. 2 tsp Yellow curry powder (madras)
