Step:
Boil the water in either a kettle or a saucepan
Turn off the heat, add the tea, cover and let steep for 5 minutes
Add the mint leaves and continue steeping for a further 5 minutes
Stir in the sugar until dissolved then strain into a jug
Serve hot with a sprig of mint or serve chilled over ice
The sugar can be substituted for 60mls of agave nectar + to taste
Ingredients
1920 ml water
3 tbsp loose green tea or 5 teabags
1 bunch mint leaves
100 grams sugar + extra to taste
