Step:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F.

  2. Grease square pan, 8 X 8 X 2 inches.

  3. Mix oil, brown sugar, vanilla and egg.

  4. Stir in remaining ingredients.

  5. Spread in pan.

  6. Bake about 25 minutes.

  7. Cut into squares while still warm.

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  2. 1 cup packed brown sugar
  3. 1 egg
  4. 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  5. 1 tsp baking powder
  6. 1/2 tsp salt
  7. 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  8. 1 tsp vanilla (I use extra)
