Step:
Heat the oil in a medium pot over medium heat.
Add the onion and cook until soft.
Add the garlic and cook for about 2 minutes, until fragrant.
Add the celery and carrot and cook until tender, about 7 to 10 minutes.
Add the wine, mushrooms and tomatoes.
Bring to a simmer.
Cover and continue to cook.
In a pan, cook the turkey, sprinkling it with steak seasoning and garlic salt, breaking it up into small pieces.
Drain well.
Add the Worcestershire sauce and stir.
Add the meat to the sauce and simmer for another 30 minutes.
Serve with whatever pasta you prefer and Parmesan cheese.

1 large carrot, peeled and finely grated
2 celery ribs, finely diced
1 cup red wine
1 lb small portabella mushrooms, cleaned and cut into quarters
2 lb ground turkey
3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tbsp steak seasoning (I use Penzey's or Mc Cormick)
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt (or 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic)
2 (14 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, or 2 pounds fresh tomatoes diced and seeded
