Step:

  1. In a 2 quart NON-METAL freezer container, stir all ingredients except ginger ale until sugar is dissolved.

  2. Freeze 4 to 6 hours or until slush consistency.

  3. If slush is frozen solid, let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes before serving.

  4. To serve, spoon 1/2 cup slush mixture into each glass.

  5. Pour 1/2 cup ginger ale over each.

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup sugar
  2. 1 can (46 ounces) pink grapefruit juice (about 6 cups)
  3. 1 can (12 ounces) frozen (thawed) lemonade concentrate
  4. 1 packages (0.14 ounce) strawberry flavored drink mix
  5. 1 bottle (2 liter) ginger ale, chilled (8 cups)
