Step:

  1. mix all ingredients until dough becomes slightly foamy.

  2. preheat oven to 220C , grease the tin ,add mixture to funnel cake tin or similar baking tin with hole in middle and bake for about one hour, or until a skewer inserted comes away clean. Dust with icing sugar when cooled.

  1. 300 grams raisins
  2. 150 grams currants
  3. 1 cup dark rum
  4. 250 grams butter
  5. 200 grams sugar
  6. 1 tsp grated lemon rind
  7. 1 tsp cinnamon
  8. 1 large pinch nutmeg
  9. 80 grams chopped almonds
  10. 750 grams plain four
  11. 2 packages ( sachet )baking powder
  12. 1/2 liter milk
  13. 75 grams chocolate chip
  14. 6 egg
  15. 1 stick butter or fat for greasing tin
  16. 1 small amount of icing sugar for dusting
