Step:

  1. First, the lazy cake. Off heat, add the sugar and cocoa powder and mix.

  2. Add the melted butter, and mix until no dry powder remains.

  3. Add the milk and mix. It may not mix well at first but it will come together when you put it on heat.

  4. Put on low heat and mix well, wait until it boils and thickens, add the nutella or chocolate and mix until melted, then remove from heat.

  5. Crush the biscuits into big pieces and add the chocolate mixture, mix gently as to not mash the biscuits.

  6. Pour onto a 9-10 inch glass ramekin or you could use a cheesecake pan.

  7. Let cool in the fridge for 30 - 60 minutes.

  8. Now to the top layer. Off heat, add the sugar and the starch. Mix well, the gradually add the milk.

  9. Add the instant coffee and mix before putting it on low heat.

  10. Let the mixture thicken to the level of entirely coating the back of a spoon, then take off heat.

  11. Pour over the lazy cake then let it cool in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

  12. Sift cocoa powder on top for decoration.

  2. 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  4. 100 gr melted butter
  5. 1 cup milk
  6. 2 tbsp nutella or 30 gr of any other chocolate
  7. 2 packets tea biscuits
  8. Coffee top
  9. 4 tbsp or 50 gr of sugar
  10. 3 tbsp or 23 gr of cornstarch
  11. 2 1/2 cups milk
  12. 1 tbsp or 10 gr of instant coffee
  13. Cocoa powder for decoration
