Step:

  1. Cream butter with both sugars on medium height speed for 2 minutes.

  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating to fully incorporate. Add vanilla and molasses. Mix on high until fully combined.

  3. In a small bowl combine the flour, salt, baking soda and spices. Whisk together.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix on low until combined.

  5. Beat in oats and raisins (drained) on low speed. Chill dough for an hour.

  6. Roll cookies or use scoop to make 2 tablespoon sized ball. Place on parchment lined cookie sheets 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes. Cookies will be very soft and look underdone. Leave on baking sheet for 5 minutes before moving to cooling rack.

  2. 1 cup light brown sugar
  3. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  4. 2 eggs
  5. 1 tablespoon vanilla
  6. 1 tablespoon Molasses (not blackstrap)
  7. 1 1/2 cups AP flour
  8. 1 teaspoon baking soda
  9. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  10. 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  11. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  12. 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  13. 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  14. 3 cups rolled oats
  15. 1 cup raisins, plumped in hot water
