In a saucepan boil about a cup of water, add sugar, cardamons (peeled). Let the sugar dissolve completely
Now this is tricky as the syrup consistency should not be too thin or else Lola's will be less sweeter. It should be in dark brownish in color.
Let the syrup cool out. Strain the sugar syrup in an bowl. Take the wholewheat flour mix oil & add this strained sugar syrup little by little while kneading the flour.
The dough should be stiff add water only if required. Take a ball size dough and roll it in round shape it should be more thick than a paratha about a 1/2 inch.
Heat a tawa brush it with oil once it's preheated. Then cook this Lola on low flame each side tossing it at regular intervals. Add generous amount of oil while doing so.
Cook until it has brown patches on both sides. Serve it with cold curd or mango pickle. It tastes better.
