Peel and core apples. this is the time consuming part! rinse apples in colander
Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon and a mixing bowl.
In a separate bowl pour half of the apples from the colander into it. for half of the sugar mixture and toss around till evenly coated. tour onto a non-stick baking sheet preferably not a dark one. do this for the remaining half of the apples and sugar mixture.
Put in the oven on the bottom rack and bake for 25 minutes at 400.
Take them out and you can serve them hot or cold I drilled some with homemade chocolate and the others I put with ice cream!
