Step:
Soak chana dal for 30 minutes and pressure cook it.traditionally it is cooked on low flame in big utensil.but to save time and gas one can pressure cook. Give three whistles.
Now in big bowl take all-purpose flour and wheat flour add pinch of salt.mix well add oil and with the help of water make very soft dough.it must be very soft.
Now in pan add cooked dal add Jaggery to it. Mix well and cook till Jaggery get dissolve and firm mixture formed.add nutmeg powder
Now let cool the mixture.with the help of food processor or siever sieve the mixture and make it soft
Take the flour dough.make small portions of it. Press gently now stuff above mixture of dal and Jaggery.
Slowly by hand press it and roll if needed then only use roller. Make big stuff roti
Now heat Pan and roast the poli slowly.yummy Puran poli is ready serve hot with desi ghee and milk. It's tradition.
