Step:

  1. Combine mince, sausagemeat, onion, garlic, egg,carrot, parsley, mustard, herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. Press mixture into a 22cm lof tin. Spread with prepared topping. Cover with tin foil and cook at 190C for 30 minutes. Remove foil and cook for a further 30 minutes or until juices run clear when tested with a skewer or knife. Serve hot or cold

  2. 500 g Sausagemeat
  3. 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  4. 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1 cup grated carrot
  7. 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  8. 2 teaspoons mustard
  9. 1/4 teaspoons Sweet Basil
  10. 1/4 teaspoons Oregano
  11. 1/4 teaspoons Sage
  12. 1/4 teaspoons Thyme
  13. 1/4 teaspoons Rosemary
  14. 1 teaspoon salt
  15. Black pepper
  16. topping
  17. 2 tablespoons rolled oats
  18. 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  19. 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
  20. 1/4 cup chopped parsley
