Step:

  1. Cut Chikuwa diagonally into bite-size pieces.

  2. Heat Oil in a frying pan, stir-fry Chikura over medium heat until slightly browned, and it won’t take long. Then, add Sugar and Soy sauce, and stir-fry until sauce is gone and slightly caramelised.

  3. Add some Aonori (Dried Green Laver Flakes) and Toasted Sesame Seeds.


Ingredients

  1. 150 g Chikuwa
  2. Note: Chikuwa is a tube-shape Japanese fishcake. Made from Surimi (fish paste). Other Surimi product such as Fish Balls are suitable for this dish
  3. 1 teaspoon Oil *Sesame Oil recommended
  4. 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
  5. 1/2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  6. 1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
  7. 1 teaspoon Aonori (Dried Green Laver Flakes) *OR finely crumbled Nori
