Step:

  1. Mix Butter and Oil.

  2. Add sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

  3. Sift together dry ingredients.

  4. Add to butter mixture.

  5. Fold in chips.

  6. Bake at 350° for 12 - 15 minutes. (You can let them cool on pan for awhile)

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 lbs. Butter
  2. 4 1/2 c. Flour
  3. 1 c. Oil
  4. 1 Tlbs baking soda
  5. 1 c. Brown Sugar
  6. 1/2 tsp. Salt
  7. 2 eggs
  8. 1 Tlbs. + 1 scant tsp. Cream of Tartar
  9. 2 tsp. Vanilla
  10. 2 c. Chocolate chips or white chips
  11. 1/2 c. Chopped pecans
