Step:
Add salt, baking powder and soda to the flour. (I have doubled the recipe here for my kids)
Sieve together 3 times, for the flour to incorporate air and also everything gets well mixed.
Add the chai masala and sieve again. Set aside and prepare the wet mix.
In a bowl add oil and ghee and also add honey.
Add the cream, brown sugar and beat well with a whisk or a beater.
Add curd and mix well.
Prepare a six inch tin by lining and greasing. I have taken 2 as I have doubled recipe. Preheat oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.
Add flour in portions and mix by cutting and folding method. Do not whisk or beat once you've started adding the flour.
Like this. Add almonds if you like, I wanted plain.
Pour in the tins.
This after 5 minutes.
Place in oven for 20 minutes, check with skewer it's done, if not keep again for some time.
Cool the tins over wire rack for 5 minutes. Invert the cake over the rack and cool.
Serve warm or chilled.
