  5. Place the stuffed tofu and simmer it over medium-low heat over 10 minutes.

  6. Cut the Oba into thin strips.

  1. 4 sheets Fried tofu
  2. 200 g Minced meat (pork or chicken)
  3. 50 g Carrot
  4. 10 cm Green onion
  5. 10 g Oba (Japanese basil, otherwise basil)
  6. 200 mL Dashi Broth (A)
  7. 2 tbsp Soy sauce (A)
  8. 2 tbsp Cooking Sake (otherwise wine) (A)
  9. 1 tbsp Sugar (A)
  10. 8 toothpicks (or snap a spaghetti noodle to approximately 8 cm long and make 8 sticks.): You don’t have to remove sticks when you use spaghetti noodle sticks.)
  11. Oba (otherwise basil, for topping)
  12. Roasted sesame (for topping)
