Jawatan Kosong Assistant Manager in Bintulu

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Operations & Crop Management
• Supervise daily field operations including harvesting, pruning, manuring, weeding, pest and disease control.
• Ensure timely and efficient execution of agronomic practices to maximise yield and crop quality.
• Monitor and maintain field productivity and cleanliness according to the estate standards.
• Workforce Management
• Lead, monitor and motivate estate workers to meet performance targets.
• Ensure labour productivity and discipline are maintained.
• Provide guidance and training to field supervisors and workers as necessary.
• Administration & Reporting
• Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports related to field activities, production, and labour.
• Ensure accurate records of inputs usage, attendance, and yields.
• Assist in budget planning and cost control.
• Compliance & Sustainability
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health regulations (e.g. MSPO/RSPO standards).
• Monitor and report on the implementation of sustainability practices.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Infrastructure & Asset Maintenance
• Monitor maintenance of estate infrastructure including roads, buildings, machinery and housing.
• Ensure efficient use and upkeep of estate assets and equipment.
• Communication & Coordination
• Coordinate with other departments such as HR, Finance, and Technical Services.
• Assist in handling grievances, disputes or welfare matters concerning estate employees.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Agriculture Science, Plantation Management or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in plantation operations (preferably in oil palm).
• Good leadership, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or rural estate environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and estate management systems.
• Knowledge of MSPO/RSPO compliance will be an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
