East Coast Economic Region - MY Jobs Jun 2026

DIVISION : CORPORATE STRATEGIC PLANNING
LOCATION : PUTRAJAYA

Major Responsibilities
1. Devise and recommend a strategic planning framework and provide strategic planning support for ECERDC and to other strategic initiatives including the analysis of reports and studies by Government.
2. Facilitate the preparation of analysis report on Government’s (new) policies including environmental, physical plan and strategic studies.
3. Monitor and analyse the development of the economy, industry, markets and regulatory environment related to ECER.
4. Highlight policy changes by Federal, State & Local authorities to the Management and disseminate the changes to Management.
5. Liaise with the Federal and State Governments, Statutory Bodies, Authorities, Agencies and other Stakeholders.
6. Prepare various strategic papers/presentations/proposals for internal and external consumption.

Position Requirements
1. Possess a Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ Finance/Economics/Spatial Planning or any other related discipline from a recognised university.
2. Minimum six (6) years of working experience in Business Development.
3. Familiar with the preparation of board/management papers and proposals.
4. Key competencies required includes strategic thinking, stakeholder management, analytical capabilities and results focused with an ability to prioritize and multitask.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Willing to travel.
