Jawatan Kosong Optometrist in Kuala Lumpur

Patient Examination and Diagnosis

• Perform detailed eye examinations using specialized equipment to evaluate vision and detect eye diseases and conditions.
• Diagnose visual problems, such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, and eye diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.

Treatment and Management

• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses, providing patients with various corrective options.
• Develop treatment plans for patients with eye problems, including prescribing medications and performing minor surgical procedures if necessary.
• Manage pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.

Patient Education and Consultation

• Educate patients about eye health, preventive care, and how to maintain good vision.
• Provide guidance on proper eye care, including the use of protective eyewear and managing chronic eye conditions.
• Counsel patients on how certain lifestyle choices can affect their vision and overall eye health.

Administrative and Record Keeping

• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up visits.
• Handle administrative tasks related to patient care, such as scheduling appointments and processing insurance paperwork.

Collaboration and Professional Development

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including ophthalmologists, opticians, and primary care physicians.
