Job Summary

As a member of the Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) in Malaysia, you will be responsible for the transition and day-to-day management of finance workstream of our international entities. This role focuses on the end-to-end sales invoicing process, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance for foreign markets, while maintaining standardized global process. You will act as a primary liaison for overseas stakeholders, with opportunities for career progression into leadership or diverse specialized roles as the SSC organization expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Transition & Documentation: Own the knowledge transfer phase by documenting “As-Is” invoicing process and developing robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless integration into the Malaysia SSC.

• End-to-End Invoicing: Accurate preparation and issuance of sales invoices for the international markets, ensuring strict adherence to local tax regulations (e.g. VAT/GST) and Group standards.

• Stakeholder Partnership: Proactively collaborate with Project Managers and other stakeholders to gather billing data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely invoice submission.

• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in the current invoicing workflow and propose automation or digitization solutions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting.

• Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in Finance/Accounting. Prior experience in Shared Services environment is an advantage.

• Language: Good command of English (written and spoken). You must be comfortable dealing with senior overseas stakeholders.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite) and MS Excel. Familiarity with E-Invoicing standards is a plus.

• Self-starter with high initiative, ability to manage workflow independently, maintain the flexibility required to support international time zones.

• Willingness to travel international offices for knowledge transfer and training as required.
