Jawatan Kosong Production Manager in Seremban

Job Overview:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the factory, ensuring that the production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with safety standards while maintaining high-quality requirements. The Production Manager should lead a team of technicians, operators, and production staff, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely completion of production goals.

Job Description:

• Develop and implement production plans to ensure timely completion of all production tasks.
• Oversee daily production operations and adjust plans in response to issues such as equipment breakdowns or staffing shortages
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Quality, Procurement) to ensure a smooth production process.
• Provide training and guidance to optimize employee efficiency and performance.
• Conduct performance evaluations, identify skill gaps, and make improvement plans.
• Manage, lead, and develop technicians, operators, and other production staff.
• Implement lean manufacturing and other scientific management methods.
• Gradually implement automation and technological upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
• Continuously monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs.
• Work closely with the Quality Control Department to ensure that production meets required specifications and standards.
• Monitor quality metrics and promptly address any related issues. Assist the business team in answering customer inquiries about production and quality.
• Implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure efficient use of raw materials and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of materials and parts.
• Control production costs within budget limits.
• Oversee machine maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
• Gradually upgrade equipment and continuously learn new technologies to enhance production capacity.
• Submit production reports to senior management, detailing production performance, equipment utilization, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine usage and downtime reports, as well as electricity consumption etc.
• Plan and manage applications and renewals for local production-related licenses, and assist the quality department in completing annual ISO audits by providing the necessary forms.
• Be responsible for managing both major and minor production-related tasks, including team management, production process design, and handling small issues like equipment repairs, daily waste management, and water and electricity inspections etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
