Objectives of the Position

  • Understand business needs and provide best suited support on Compensation and Benefits for specific assigned Country in the APAC region.
  • Support respective countries assigned in the region by engaging with the stakeholders, from HRBPs to country C&B teams in Compensation & Benefits matters including data analysis and providing operational support.
  • Support in identifying and implementing process improvements and best practices in the C&B space to ensure smooth implementation and engagement of best practice for respective countries.

Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities

  • Responsible in preparation of data and analysis required to support any Compensation & Benefits initiatives such as performance management, salary budgeting and merit increment cycle, annual benefit renewal program and market benchmarking exercise for countries in APAC region
  • Supports in collating economic indicators, external market practices and data analysis patterns and translates into meaningful indicators for development of any C&B initiatives and proposals to maintain market competitiveness
  • Key person for job family matching and data submission for all Compensation & Benefits relevant market surveys (for eg: Mercer Remuneration Survey) with the guidance of the Expert
  • Responsible for renewal and implementation of Compensation & Benefits program such as insurance, Flexible Benefits and Employee Assistance Program by managing, coordinating and following up with vendors, which includes market competitiveness analysis and requirement setting

Job Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications: Degree with HR focus as a bonus.
  • With 4 years of related HR working experiences in strategic Compensation & Benefits and experience in operational C&B area as well.
  • Experience in relevant country statutory preferred
  • Working knowledge around Rewards programs and system.
  • Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in language and culture of the supported country/location.
