Jawatan Kosong Principal Officer, Labuan International Branch in Labuan
If you are looking to excel and make a difference, take a closer look at us… Overview The Principal Officer for Labuan International Branch is responsible for ensuring the overall branch operations, compliance, reporting and representing the Bank in dealing with the regulators, aligning with regulatory requirements and the Bank's strategic direction. This role will be based in our Labuan International Branch and report to the General Manager, Wholesale Credit Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Functional:
- As a Principal Officer, responsible and manage the overall operations of the Branch including treasury operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Represent the Bank in dealing with all the regulators. Analyze, execute the action required and report to the Head Office.
- Designated Compliance Officer (DCO), Business Unit Compliance Representative (BUCR) and Operational Risk Representative (ORR) for the Branch.
- Review and update the SOP to ensure full compliance with regulations, policies and guidelines.
- Operational risk management including RCSA control testing, reporting etc.
- Manage the OPEX and CAPEX of the branch and continuous process improvement to reduce cost.
- Regulatory/Financial/MIS reporting and submissions within the timeline.
- Timely submission of yearly license fee to Labuan FSA, payments to vendors and branch administration etc.
- Comply with the Bank’s Code of Conduct & Ethics and any other policies/procedures.
- Obtain industry landscaping, market developments and looking for business opportunities.
- Carry out any duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor or the Bank from time to time.
2. Managerial (team/group responsibilities):
- Supervise, train and coach the staff.
- Support a conducive working environment among team members.
- Ensure proper relief is available as and when required.
3. Organizational (organizational responsibilities):
- Provide support to the business in meeting customer service expectations and ensuring operational control and compliance in accordance with the Bank’s requirement.
Job Requirements:
Education/Qualification
- Malaysian citizen.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Administration or equivalent holder.
- 10 years and above related experience
Experience & Skillsets
- Strong knowledge and experiences in treasury operations especially bonds, REPO etc.
- Experience in Labuan offshore banking and working with regulators is a plus.
- Able to demonstrate strong leadership, high level of integrity and accountability.
- Able to demonstrate excellent service mindset and communication skills.
