Step:

  1. Cut paneer in triangle shape. Heat butter in a karahi & add chopped onions.

  2. Now add cashews & saute for 2-3 minutes minute. Add red chilli powder & salt.saute for a second.

  3. Now add chopped tomatoes. Cook till they become mushy.Switch off the flame & let them cool down.

  4. Heat oil in a pan & deep fry the paneer pieces till they become golden brown.Take them out on a tissue paper to absorb excess oil.

  5. In a mixture grinder pour the tomato mixture & grind to a smooth paste.

  6. In the same karahi,pour the paste & sprinkle kasuri methi. Cook on low flame for 2- 3 minutes.

  7. Now add sugar & tomato ketchup. Add paneer masala & garam masala. Mix well.

  8. Now add fresh malai & mix well on low flame.Add fried paneer.

  9. Now add water & milk.cook for 5 minutes.switch off the gas.

  10. Put it in a serving bowl & garnish with cream & garam masala.


Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kg fresh paneer
  2. 1 roughly chopped onion
  3. 4 roughly chopped tomatoes
  4. 6-8 cashews
  5. 4 tbsp butter
  6. To taste salt
  7. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  8. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  9. 2 tsp shahi paneer masala
  10. 1/2 cup fresh cream
  11. 1/2 cup water
  12. 1/2 cup boiled milk
  13. 1/3 tsp kasuri methi
  14. 1/3 tsp sugar
  15. 1 tsp tomato ketchup
  16. As required Oil for deep frying
