Step:

  1. Knead whole wheat flour into smooth dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Then divide the dough in small equal portions. Take one portion and roll it in a small ball. Roll this ball in a chapati, using a rolling pin.

  2. Apply ghee on the chapati and sprinkle salt and chilli powder on it. Then put 2 spoons of rice on it, seal it like shown in the pic. Now apply some dry wheat flour on it and roll it on a thin paratha. Roll it as thin as possible without breaking it.

  3. Heat the tawa and put the rolled paratha on it. Cook from each side for a couple minutes. Then apply ghee on it and cook it for another minute till it's golden brown. Your rice paratha is ready. Serve it with, curd or raita or enjoy it with homemade white butter for better taste.
