Step:

  1. Heat the Ghee in a wok. Fry the dry fruits in low medium flame. Remove and keep aside.

  2. To the remaining ghee in the wok add the green moong dal paste and fry for 2 minutes on low medium heat.

    Now add milk and mawa to the dal and keep stirring.

    Then add Jaggery and/or brown sugar and salt, Coconut powder and Sonth or dry Ginger powder.

  3. Cook for 2 mins without covering the wok.

    Switch off the flame and mix the Cardamon power and fried dry fruits.

    Yummy and tasty Green Moong Dal Kheer is ready to serve.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup boiled Green moong dal
  2. 1/2 ltr boiled milk
  3. 50 gm grated Khoya /mawa (milk solid)
  4. 2 tbsp Khajur Gud (Date Jaggery)
  5. 2 tsp / more Brown sugar (as per need)
  6. 1/3 tsp dry Ginger power (Sonth)
  7. 1 tbsp Coconut powder
  8. 1 tbsp Clarified butter (Deshi ghee)
  9. 1 tbsp chopped dry fruits
  10. 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  11. 1 pinch salt
