Step:
Soak the dal overnight and grind it into a smooth paste. Add water to give it a thin consistency. The batter should not be thick or your chilla be thicker.
Now take the batter into a bowl and add all the ingredients i.e. onion, ginger, salt, pepper, chilli in it and mix it well.
Once mixed put half the batter onto your greased pan/tawa and spread it into round thin shape with the help of your spoon.
Let it cook for a couple minutes on one side then turn on the other side with the help of a spatula. Let it cook for a couple minutes and your tasty moong dal chilla is ready. Add as little oil/ghee as possible to keep it healthy.
Enjoy the tasty chilla with Coriander chutney, it will increase the taste and will still keep it healthy.
