Step:
Cut Bacon into 1/3's, lengthwise.
Wrap bacon around a smokie, and keep in place with a toothpick. (Note: cold bacon is the easiest to work with)
Place onto a large baking sheet and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Place into preheated 325F oven, and bake for approximately 40 minutes, until bacon is crisp and brown sugar is bubbly.
Remove from oven and put into crock pot on low heat. Cover with BBQ sauce and serve. Toothpicks are useful to pick out Smokies one by one.
Ingredients
1 Pkg Beef Smokies
1 Lb Thick Cut Bacon
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Bottle BBQ Sauce (use your favorite, I enjoy Head Country)
