Step:
Put all your ingredients together and measure the required proportions
Preheat your oven at 180 degrees
Sift the flour and baking powder and whisk it together
Butter your tin,
Dust the tin with flour
Add parchment paper that is cut to the circumference of the tin
Add the margarine into your a mixing bowl and mix on low speed with your mixer
Add the sugar and mix on high speed for 5 minutes
With your spatula or mwiko put your mixture together
Mix till light and fluffy this takes about 8minutes
Take a small bowl and break on egg at a time and add to the mixture.make sure your eggs are at room temperature.we do this step to make sure that no bad eggs get into the mixture
Add all 4eggs on at a time while mixing lightly and the vanilla essence
Cut the orange into two and using the fork pierce it to help remove juices as you squeeze into a bowl and measure into a cup of orange juice optional step add orange food colour 1 tsp and mix
Add 1/3 of the flour into the mixture and mix next add the half of the orange juice and mix
Mix it in then add the 1/3 flour and all the juice.add the remaining flour
Pour the batter onto a baking tin bang it on a surface to remove large air bubbles
Optional step is to put a flower nail at the center to make sure the cake is ready at the centre
Put in the oven and bake for 40 minutes remove from the oven but first test if ready by when skewer inserted comes out clean
Dont remove from the tin first let it rest for 5 minutes and then overturn the tin on a plate.peel off the parchment paper and remove the flower nail
