Step:
Mix flour, salt, black pepper, turmeric garlic paste and garam masala in bowl
Pour 1/4 cup water and begin to mix. Knead to make stiff dough. Drizzle oil and knead to a lightly smooth dough. Rest few minutes
Divide dough into small or medium sized balls. Smoothen all bald by filing them lightly in between your palms avoid kneading them
Keep covered. Sprinkle very little flour on work surface, roll. Flatten ball begin to roll into a round thin shape
Heat oil on medium flame. Drop poori carefully in oil. Let it rise halfway to the surface undisturbed. Quickly gently begin to press down with perforated ladle. This helps poori to puff well
Once poori puffed flip cook second side until golden brown. Repeat for all poori until done
Serve with curry, korma or chutney

1 teaspoon black pepper
Pinch salt
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablspoon garlic paste
4 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon garam marsala
Oil for deep frying
