Step:

  1. Get your tamarind ready...it should be dry...not the green ones

  3. Soak your pulp in warm water(cold is fine too but it takes longer)...It should be enough to cover the pulp...

  4. Set aside..cover it.. You can leave it for a few hours or overnight

  5. Hours later..

  6. Time to make our juice

  7. Remove the seeds from the pulp first....clean and use your hands

  8. Now squeeze the liquid from the pulp...use a sieve..your forks or hands will do

  9. Set the pulp aside

  10. The water you had soaked the pulp plus the excess water from the pulp..add sugar/honey and a little lemon juice..stir well

  11. Sieve to remove any impurities or solids

  12. Store in the fridge for up to a month..you can add more water if you feel it is too tangy

  3. Sugar/honey..to your desired taste
  4. Lemon juice
