Step:

  1. Firstly squeeze excess water from the grated potatoes.

  2. Grate apples around the core, and transfer to a colander or strainer, pressing out as much liquid /juice as possible.

  3. Coarsely grind the oats.

  4. In a broad plate take potato, grated apple, roasted oats, add cheese, coriander, mint, green chillies, salt and corn flour and mix all ingredients very well.

  5. Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle some olive oil.

  6. Now take a spoonful of prepared mixture on to your greased palm and make a flat round shapes and keep aside.

  7. Cook the rösties on a medium flame until golden brown and crisp on both sides, flipping them occasionally.

  8. Do the plating and serve hot rösties with hot and sweet sauce or schezuan sauce.


Ingredients

  1. 2 potatoes medium grated
  2. 4 tablespoon oats slightly roasted
  3. 1 fresh and ripe apple
  4. 2 cubes cheese grated
  5. 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  6. 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves chopped
  7. 1 teaspoon Mint leaves chopped
  8. 2 tablespoons all purpose flour or corn flour
  9. 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  10. 2 teaspoons oil, I have used olive oil
