Step:

  1. Hang the curd in a muslin, cheese cloth for 3 hours.

  2. Puree the mangoes in a blender until smooth.

  3. Blend the thick hung curd with a blender
    Add mango purée and blend again until mixture is smooth and lump free.

  4. Add sugar, chopped dry fruits and cardamom powder and blend again until smooth

  5. Pour in individual serving bowls.

  6. Chill and serve the aamrakhand after garnishing with dry fruits and saffron.

  7. It goes well with pooris, paranthas or you can have just like that


Ingredients

  1. 3 cups curd fresh
  2. 2 mangoes peeled and chopped
  3. 4 cardamom, (elaichi) crushed
  4. 1/4 th teaspoon of saffron strands/kesar
  5. 1 cup powdered sugar or as required
  6. For garnish
  7. 2 tablespoons mixed dry fruits like cashews, pistachios
  8. 1 teaspoon almonds blanched and chopped
  9. 1 tablespoon mango chunks (optional)
