Step:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Mix 1 cup sugar, butter and 2 eggs. Add mashed bananas, salt, the soda dissolved in sour cream and 2 cups flour. Mix well and add nuts.

  3. Divide 1/2 of this mixture into 2 greased & floured loaf pans.

  4. Combine cream cheese mixture ingredients and spread over mixture in pans. Spread remaining banana bread batter on top.

  5. You can sprinkle a few extra nuts on top or sprinkle top with 1 tbsp sugar mixed with 1/2 tbsp cinnamon before baking. Makes a nice crunchy top.

  6. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Test for doneness.

  7. Cool & Slice.

  4. 3 Ripe Bananas, mashed
  5. 1 tsp Salt
  6. 1 tsp Baking Soda
  7. 3 tbsp Sour Cream
  8. 2 cup AP Flour
  9. 1 cup Chopped Nuts
  10. Cream Cheese Mixture
  11. 1 (8oz.) Cream Cheese, softened
  12. 1/3 cup Sugar
  13. 1 large Egg
  14. 1 tbsp AP Flour
