Step:

  1. Heat oven to 350°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Place French breads, seam side down, on prepared cookie sheet and brush with melted butter.

  3. Bake bread 17 to 19 minutes or until light golden brown.

  4. Carefully hollow out center of loaf by using a bread knife to cut out a v-shape lengthwise down the center of the loaf. You can discard or bake bread scraps with the loafs in a later step.

  5. Cook spinach as directed on packaging. Drain well, squeeze with paper towel to get out as much liquid as possible.

  6. In a medium bowl, mix together cooked spinach, cream cheese, the mayonnaise, 1/2 cup of the parmesan and garlic until well blended.

  7. Spoon spinach mixture into hollowed-out French bread loaf.

  8. Bake additional 15 minutes, remove and sprinkle with remaining 2 tbs shredded parmesan cheese.

  9. Bake another 3-5 minutes or until spinach filing is hot and bread is deep golden brown.

  10. Let sit for 5-8 minutes for filling to set a little. Cut into slices to serve.
