Remove pine pitch/sap on/in dog paws or fur

It doesn't matter if the pitch is crusted over. This technique works and you won't believe it!

Depending upon the size of your dog work with a teaspoon, or tablespoon, at a time. Work in the butter. At first you're going to say, "this woman's insane and doesn't know what she's talking about." That's when you will feel the pitch start to breakup. Add more butter (if needed) wiping with paper towels every so often and removing the clumps, until it's all gone. Then clean paws, or fur, with warm soapy water. Followed with warm water to rinse soap away. It's amazing!

BTW, to stop your dog from eating the butter, provide treats every so often.
