Step:

  1. Set oven to 350

  2. Prepare according to cake mix directions add vanilla and chai spice.

  3. Pour batter into lined cupcake tins.

  4. Bake according to cake mix directions.

  5. Prepare buttercream by mixing all ingredients together until smooth.

  6. Frost cooled cupcakes and sprinkle with chai spice.

Ingredients

  1. 1 box Devils food cake mix
  2. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  3. 2 tsp chai spice mix (see my other recipe)
  4. 1 buttercream frosting:
  5. 2 egg whites
  6. 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  7. 1 1/2 sticks butter (12 oz) room temp
  8. 6 tbsp honey
  9. 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
