Step:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time.

  3. Sift and incorporate dry ingredients.

  4. Add half the apples and beat 30 seconds or so.

  5. Add remaining apples and raisins and Stir in by hand.

  6. Pour into a greased tube or loaf pan and bake approximately 1hr15mins or until a tester comes out clean.

Ingredients

  1. 3 1/4 cup flour
  2. 2 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 3/4 cup butter
  4. 3 eggs
  5. 2 tsp baking soda
  6. 1 1/2 tsp salt
  7. 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  8. 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  9. 5 cup peeled, cored, and diced apples
  10. 1 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
