Step:

  1. Whisk together eggs and nextn5 ingredients until thoroughly blended. Stir in pecans. Fit pie crust into a 9" pie plate according to package directions. Fold edges under and crimp. Pour filling into pie crust.

  2. Bake at 350° on lower rack for 40 minutes or until pie is set, shielding crust after 15 minutes, if needed. Cool completely on a wire rack. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.
