Step:

  1. Heat oven 375°F baking sheet with flavor crisco

  2. Combine butter Crisco, light brown sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in a large bowl.

  3. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended

  4. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

  5. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed just until blended.

  6. Stir in nuts

  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough 2 inches apart onto baking sheet.

  8. Bake at 375°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly brown.

  2. 1 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1/3 cup milk
  5. 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  6. 3 cup quick oats
  7. 1 cup flour
  8. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  9. 1/2 tsp salt
  10. 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  11. 1 cup chopped walnuts
