**** can use homemade pizza crust... I have the recipe on my profile.
put melted butter and mix garlic, Basil and oregano in a bowl.....set aside while u prepare the dough..
get baking stone WARM but not so hot u can not handle it... sprinkle the stone with cornmeal.. once pizza dough is ready to use spread on stone.
if dough seems like it is not ready to be worked with give it 10 more minutes.... should have elasticity
TAKE A FORK AND POKE DOUGH ALL OVER.....
I use an old paint brush and put butter& spices on the 'pizza' crust. put cut up tomatoes... and any veggies listed as an option... bell pepper, mushrooms, onions, etc.
sprinkle s&p .....on top of bread ... .. then put the cheese ... can use thin cut cheese also ....
bake at 450° for about 25-30 minutes...
Ingredients
1 pizza dough... can be store bought
1/2 cup butter or evoo
6 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh basil.... or 2 Tbsp dried basil
1 tbsp oregano
1 small red onion
6 heirloom tomatoes cut in thick cuts...
1 dash salt and pepper
4 oz mozeralla cheese, finely shredded
1 *** 1/8 cup cornmeal .. for dusting stone
1/3 cup black olive, optional
1/2 medium bell pepper, juliened ... can rainbow, optional
