Step:

  1. Let cheese stand at room temperature until very soft.

  2. In a food processor, mix jalapenos with juice, garlic cloves and onions.

  3. Slowly in small portions add cheese to mixture and blend on low speed until smooth.

  4. Add mayonnaise and cayenne pepper, mix only until blended. Do not over mix; dip will be thin. Add salt & pepper to taste.

  5. Great to give as gifts in a decorated jar and refrigerate. Serve with vegetables or spiced crackers (see my other recipe). This makes a LOT so share with friends!

  6. Note: Do not use the "light" ingredients or the dip will be too thin and runny. It's a dip so it's not meant to be healthy! LOL!

Ingredients

  1. 1 quart Hellmans mayonnaise
  2. 2 lb velveeta cheese
  3. 2 medium yellow onions, finely chopped
  4. 13 oz jalapenos, sliced or chopped
  5. 1 pod garlic
  6. 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
