Step:

  1. In a stock pot, saute onions in oil until tender. Add garlic; cook 2 minutes longer. Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, cheese and herbs. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 2-3 hours or until desired consistency, stirring occasionally.

  2. Serve desired amount over spaghetti. Cool remaining sauce, transfer to freezer containers. Freeze for up to 3 months.

  3. TO USE FROZEN SAUCE:

  4. Thaw in the refriigerator overnight. Place in a sauce pan and heat through.

  1. 4 large onions, chopped
  2. 2 tbsp olive oil
  3. 10 garlic cloves, minced
  4. 4 can (28 oz each) crushed tomatoes
  5. 7 can (15oz each) tomato sauce
  6. 2 can (6 oz each) tomato paste
  7. 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  8. 1 cup minced fresh parsley
  9. 1/4 cup dried basil
  10. 2 tsp dried oregano
  11. 2 tbsp italian seasoning
