Step:

  1. Using a 3 or 4 inch bone shaped cookie cutter on a diagonal on each slice of bread; press down & cut out.

  2. Melt the butter in a pan over medium high heat.

  3. Put the bread slices in the pan, then slowly pour enough of the egg into the cut out area of the bread to fill it. (I use about 1/2 of an egg for 1 slice of bread.)

  4. Reduce the heat to medium and cook about 2 minutes on 1 side, then flip the bread over and cook 1 to 2 minutes on the other side until the egg is set.

  5. Let cool slightly, then cut into small pieces if necessary.

  6. Serve & enjoy! I make 1 of these as a rare treat for my dog & 1 for me. It works out great! ;-)
