Step:
Place all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl and mix using a spoon.
Add as much flour as is needed to be able to knead until you have a nice pliable dough, about 1/2 k. It doesn't take too much mixing, it's very easy to make.
Divide the dough into 22 little balls, each one the size of a small tangerine.
Meanwhile, prepare the filling combining all the ingredients into a mixture.
Roll out the dough, to a filo sheet of about 1/2 cm thick and place one heaping tbsp of filling on it.
Fold the dough over sealing it well and making an oval shape.
Bake on parchment paper brushed with butter at 180°C for about half an hour or until they are golden brown.
Dust with icing sugar when they cool.

2 medium sized apples, grated (with a few drops of lemon juice so that they don't turn brown)
2 tbsp sugar
1 cup finely ground walnuts
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp dried breadcrumbs
2-3 tbsp orange jam
orange zest
For the dough
1 cup corn oil
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice or 1/2 cup white wine or 1/2 cup water
1 tbsp sugar
1 little salt
self-rising flour, about 1/2 k
icing sugar for dusting
very little cinnamon (optional)
