Step:

  1. Place the ingredients for the caramel in a pot over strong heat and let it until it caramelizes. Pour the caramel in a baking mold making sure it coats all of the inside of the mold and not just the bottom. 

  2. Beat the eggs for 4- 5 minutes in the high speed of a stand mixer, then add the rest of the ingredients (at a lower speed).

  3. Pour the custard in the caramel-coated mold, place the mold in a baking tray and add as much water to the baking tray as to cover 1/3 of the mold. Then place in a preheated oven at 180°C for about one hour.

  1. For the custard
  2. 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  3. 3 cans hot water (use the empty can of the milk for measure)
  4. 6 eggs
  5. 2 tsp vanilla
  6. 1 pinch salt
  7. For the caramel
  8. 180 g sugar
  9. 3 tbsp lemon juice
