Step:

  1. Place the water, the semolina and the sugar (the vegetable oil as well, if you are using any) in a pot over strong heat and stir until it thickens. 

  2. When it thickens remove from heat and pour in the rose water stirring continuously. 

  3. Finally, pour in the syrup to make the halouva pink and give it a rose fragrance. 

  4. Place the mixture in a cake mold and then in the fridge to cool. 

  5. Remove from mold and it is ready. 


Ingredients

  1. 10 cups water 
  2. 2 cups semolina 
  3. 2 cups sugar 
  4. 50 ml vegetable oil (optionally) 
  5. 50 ml rose water 
  6. 4-5 tbsp rose syrup
