Scottish Tablet (U.S measurements)

Add all ingredients, but vanilla, to sauce pan.

Bring to a boil. Continue boiling til color is a dark tan (20-40 mins) *Test by dripping some in cold water. Should form balls, keep shape when taken out of water.

When desired colored is reached. Turn off heat. Add vanilla. Stir vigorously til it cools, thickens, and gets grainy (I personally don't wait for it to get grainy)

Pour in to greased pan. Refrigerate til hardens. Cut before it fully hardens.
