Whisk together milk and instant pudding powder. Fold in cool whip.
Gently fold in apples. Let sit in fridge for an hour or overnight to marinate.
Melt butter, chocolate chips, and cream slowly over a double burner. Stir until smooth. Drizzle over apple salad as desired.
Try with instant butterscotch pudding instead!
