Step:

  1. Drop in greased pan + spread with knife.

    Sprinkle top with sugar and mace mixture - to taste.

    Bake 10 min in 350 oven - middle rack in oven

    Watch - may have to add more flour - try it.

Ingredients

  3. 2 cubes butter - may use half margarine
  4. 2 eggs - beaten in one at a time
  5. add 1 8 oz carton sour cream + beat
  6. add 3 3/4 cups flour with 1 teaspoon soda + 2 teaspoons baking powder
  7. salt
  8. grated lemon rind
  9. 1 1/2 tsp vanilla + 1 tsp lemon extract
